I have purchased 9mm thick Meranti plywood. I was only able to access 13 sheets at this time. Hopefully that is enough to complete the hull. I will be buying more for the deck, cockpit and interior areas.
There is not 1 flaw in the surface or in between the 7 plys. It is so nice that I think I will keep some of it exposed and just coat it with epoxy. The interior might be where that happens !
The plywood needs to be conforming to a British Standard 1088. Waterproof and boil proof glue is used during its construction.
