Hull plating layout for the nonCNC builders .... if there are any out there !

Writer's picture: captdancaptdan

Here is my CAD layout I did. This was to make sure I didnt waste any materials

( aka GOLD in the form of plywood )

The bottom 2 rows ( A - F ) are for the sides.

G - L are for the chines

M - R are for the bottom layers

The majority of the pieces are large bits that fit on to the hull. They cant be nested with any other pieces so they will essentially take up 1 sheet. I am thinking that I can get some of the deck pieces out of the drops. I dont have the liberty of having the CAD drawings of the deck pieces so for now they lean against the wall till that day comes.

The next 4 pictures are showing the pieces that can be cut out of 1 sheet of plywood.
